Apperance: The beer is black, a chestnut head with little lacing but good curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling much of roasted tones, vanilla, chocolate and caramel. (3.5)
Taste: The taste has sweet dark fruits, coffee, some toffee and chocolate. (4.5)
Palate: Medium carbonation, soft and oily and alcoholic, a dry finish and a good body. (4)
Overall: A nice complex beer with good action and much to enjoy, this was a barrel aged edition. (4.5)
