Apperance: The brew is clear red, rather dark, has a pink head that settles rather quickly and fizzy, little lacing, some curtains. (3.5) Aroma: The smell is very much raspberries, raspberry jam, some other sour fruits like redcurrant, rhubarbs or sour grapes. (3) Taste: Starting sweet, raspberry jam on white bread, then mostly acidity, vinegar, rhubarbs, a slight bitterness like cherry seeds or grape-fruit peel. (3.5) Palate: Low carbonation, rather small body, soft and fresh, a coarse dry finish. (3) Overall: The raspberries did come out well, not too sweet and stuffy, the sourness of the lambic saves the brew and makes it refreshing. (3.5)
