Imperial Stout

Apperance: The beer is very dark, almost black, a tan head that leaves some lacing. (4)
Aroma: The smell is dominated by the caramel malt, sweet burnt notes, toffee, sherry, coffee beans, dark bread crust. (4.5)
Taste: The taste is very sweet, brown sugar and caramel with strong coffee and cocoa. A rather short (too short) bitterness at the end. (3.5)
Palate: Low carbonation, sticky and oily mouthfeel. (3)
Overall: Well done, but too sweet for my taste. A bit better when moderated with dark bread and salt butter. (3.5)

Bottle, 500 ml (but seemed bigger).
