Apperance: The beer is black, with a thick tan head leaving good lacing. (4.5) Aroma: The smell is initially intensely roasted coffee beans, then dark toast and some sweet dried fruits. (4) Taste: Tasting of burned dark bread, smoked sausage, the dried figs and a dash of cold coffee. (4) Palate: Medium carbonation, small bubbles, soft and rich body, smooth and oily, a nice dry finish. (4) Overall: This was a really nice well balanced porter, with coffee installed. (4)
