Apperance: The ale is clouded dark gold, has small bubbles a white head with good lacing and some curtains are seen.
(4) Aroma: The smell is citric, lemon curd on digestive, some green grass as well.
(3) Taste: Very little sweetness in this, much sourness lemon and rhubarbs, almost battery acid, then a coarse bitterness, like chewing on lemon seeds.
(3) Palate: Medium low carbonation, small foamy bubbles, a thin body, a coarse hard dryness that fades quickly.
(3) Overall: As I often perceive Dugges ales a bit unbalanced with sharp sour- and bitterness. (2.5)
