Amber Ale

Apperance: The brew is clear pale amber or almost brass colored, has an off-white small head, no lacing. (3)
Aroma: The smell is floral, grass, nettles, hay but also a bit damp moss. (3)
Taste: The taste starts with toffee and brown bread nuances, ripe pears and apples followed by an old hay bitterness. (3)
Palate: Very low carbonation, a soft texture but a small body. A light dry finish. (3)
Overall: This was a real cask that had peaked, so it got a solid average rating, want to return to it at a better timing. (3)
