Apperance: Light amber, pale sherry, clear, good lacing. Shimmering with water. (4)
Aroma: Butter scotch, marzipan, resin, saw dust. Ripe pears. (3.5)
Taste: Syrup, canned pears, spicy notes (pepper), distinct alcohol. A better rye flour bitterness with some water, almonds noted as well. (3.5)
Palate: Soft, slightly sticky, warm. (3)
Overall: Rather low key, appreciate a bit more rye bite. Improves when watered down. (3)
