Apperance: A black brew with hints of red, dark chestnut head, no lacing but good curtains. (4)
Aroma: The smell is from sweet dried fruits, vanilla, licorice, dark roasted bread. (4)
Taste: Tasting sweet, figs, dates, whole grain porridge, coffee beans, licorice. (4)
Palate: Little carbonation, thick and sticky, a huge body and slightly dry. (3.5)
Overall: A complex, yet rather balanced porter. A bit sweet. (3.5)
