Apperance: The beer is dark brown with hints of orange, a tan high head that leaving loads of lacing. (4)
Aroma: The smell is mostly malty, bread and molasses. (3.5)
Taste: Staring sweet, brown bread, fruity notes, ripe apples, a modest raw flour bitterness. (3)
Palate: Low carbonation, small bubbles, soft, slightly sticky, a good body and mildly dry finish. (3)
Overall: Not bad, but not really interesting either. A lot of these dark or Vienna lagers at Eastern and Christmas.This is the 2011 version which has slightly higher ABV, 5.7%. (3)
