Apperance: A clear pale amber whisky. (4) Aroma: Sweet tobacco and smoked sausages, peat, sherry. (4.5) Taste: Startring sweet, raw sugar, then spicy peppery notes, followed by smoked salami and honey and sherry. Warm iodine feeling when watered down. (4.5) Palate: Very smooth initially, a bit oily, but the finish is almost coarse. (4.5) Overall: A good solid Islay malt. Really nothing bad. (4.5)
