Apperance: The color is clear amber, small bubbles, a white head that leaves some lacing. (4) Aroma: The smell is well polished and balanced, some sweet caramel tones, citric grape-fruit, and some pine and juniper resin. (4.5) Taste: The taste is consistent with the smell, initial toffee sweetness, citric tastes, lemon and grape-fruit juice, lime and bitter orange zest in the bitter overture. (4) Palate: Medium carbonation, very small bubbles, a full body, smooth and somewhat sticky texture, a good long dry finish. (4.5) Overall: A good and solid american IPA by the textbook, nothing to complain about at all, (4)
