Apperance: A clear copper/honey amber color, an off-white head that settles rather slowly, leaving no lacing, but have good curtains. (4.5)
Aroma: Smelling a bit earthy, old wood, sour wool, yeast. (4)
Taste: The taste has some caramelized sugar, slightly vinous, sherry, nuts, matured grape-fruit zest, a raw wooden finish. (3.5)
Palate: Medium carbonation, small bubbles, a full body, slightly oily, a sharp dryness is remaining. (3.5)
Overall: The oak aging has effects on beer that I do not always respond to. (3.5)
