Apperance: The brew is clear amber, an off-white rather small head, some lacing and some curtains. (3.5)
Aroma: The smell is clearly smoky, a bit of tar and peat, some wood. Very much like a traditional wood sauna. (4.5)
Taste: Upfront sweet, brown sugar, sweet bread, smoked meat, sweet sour bitter nuances (mango chutney?). (4)
Palate: Low carbonation, soft and oily, a rather dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: A pleasant moderated rauchbier. (4)
