Noir De Dottignies

Apperance: The brew is dark brown, slightly red, a tan head with small even bubbles, settling rather quickly leaving some lacing. (4)
Aroma: The smell is earthy, smoked coffee beans, and some yeast. (4)
Taste: Rather sweet, burnt dark bread, licorice, figs, some sherry and a round bitterness at the end. (4)
Palate: A small carbonation, soft small bubbles, overall a smooth texture, a heavy body and a dry finish. (4)
Overall: In all a good beer, rather complex and rewarding. (4)
