Apperance: This beer is clear, read amber with a tan head, that leaves some lacing. (4) Aroma: The smell is sweet, but mainly dominated by wood, earth and sour grains. (3) Taste: The taste is rather sweet, raisins, brown sugar, sherry, green apples, nuts and dark bread. Very little hops. (3.5) Palate: High carbonation, soft and with a medium large body, a dry finish. (4) Overall: I often have a hard time appreciating I&G, but this was not the watery sour wood that I often feel. (3.5)
