Apperance: The beer is nearly clear, amber with a brass hue, the head is white high and strong. Leaves lots of lacing and good curtains are seen. (4.5)
Aroma: The smell is musky and earthy, rhubarbs in sugar, sour milk, yeast, leather and damp earth ran in a blender. (4)
Taste: Upfront sweet, toffee and brown bread, then sour fruit notes, apricots and green apples, the finish is very bitter, raw seed nuances. (3.5)
Palate: Medium high carbonation, small bubbles, soft and fairly complex, a rather dry finish. (4)
Overall: Slightly unbalanced to the bitter side, maybe storing a year would help. Anyway, good with cheese. (4)
