Apperance: This beer is brown with hints of red, the tan head is rather small and leaves some lacing. (4) Aroma: The smell is somewhat malty, bread and nuts, but mostly acid, fresh fruits, apples and grapes. (3) Taste: The taste has malty. nutty tones, brown bread, but here as well a distinct acidity, green apples and pears, rather much grassy hops. (3) Palate: Medium low carbonation, soft, small bubbles and a dry finish. (3.5) Overall: Well besides the unexpected sourness I would have expected more malts and less hops in this "alt", viellecht ist es so das Ich nichts verstehe? (3)
