Apperance: The beer is pitch dark black, an oily small brown head, good curtains. (4)
Aroma: The smell is earthy, concrete, autumn leaves, anise and yeast. (3.5)
Taste: Tasting sweet, licorice, some coffee and possibly a salty twang. (4.5)
Palate: Medium carbonation, lots of small bubbles, a complex body with an oily surface. (4)
Overall: A powerful and complex brew. (4)
