Black October

Apperance: The beer is black. A cream colored foamy head, no lacing. (3)
Aroma: The smell is typical for heavy roasted malt, burnt bread, coffee, some anise and dried fruit. (4)
Taste: Initially sweet, raisins and dried dates, sour apples, some sherry, dark chocolate, nuts and cherry seeds. (4.5)
Palate: Medium low carbonation, soft with small bubbles. (4)
Overall: Really god, and really much beer for the relatively low ABV. (4)
