Apperance: The beer is black, with hints of brown, the high and slowly settling head is beige and leaves good lacing. (4) Aroma: The smell is sweet, vanilla infused, a bit like a dusty old closet with spilled out coffee with vanilla syrup that now is sticky spots on the floor ... (3) Taste: The taste has sweetness, and vanilla aromas of course, but a rather high acidity makes it fresher than the smell. The bitter hops feels a bit uneven, maybe should this beer wait a year or two. (3) Palate: Medium high carbonation, small and lively bubbles, a rather forceful dryness in the finish. (3) Overall: I'd possibly buy a few bottles and let them store for a while, for now it seemed too immature. (2.5)
