Rickard's Dark

Apperance: The beer is dark red, brown and grey in the color, an off-white head with very small bubbles, some lacing. (3)
Aroma: The smell is mostly in the heavy roasted malt area, but rather subtle. (3)
Flavor: The taste is sweet, a bit like chocolate on brown bread, but also some tone of wet old wood. (2.5)
Palate: Medium high carbonation, but surprisingly spritzy, giving a weak soda association. (2.5)
Overall: This is not a good example of an English porter - at all! (2)
