Apperance: A clouded orange amber beer, an off-white head that leaves lots of lacing. (4.5) Aroma: The smell is an explosion of citric and floral aromas, grape-fruit, lime, orange. Pine needles and cones, dried and fresh flowers in a midsummer meadow. (4.5) Taste: The taste has some brown sugar and fresh rye bread, grape-fruit juice and peel, and bitter lemon seeds. (4) Palate: Low carbonation, a smooth and oily complexity followed by a warm dry feeling. (4.5) Overall: A beer that is so packed with aroma and taste that it really needs good time to indulge. But worth every minute of it. Possibly a bit too much hops compared to the malt. (4)
