Apperance: The beer is clear dark amber, possibly more orange than red. The head is tan colored and leaves some lacing. (3.5) Aroma: The smell has malty, toffee sweet tones, and citric, bitter orange notes. (3.5) Taste: The taste has an upfront biscuit and bread sweetness, then bitter orange marmalade followed by a discrete but nice bitterness. (3.5) Palate: Medium carbonation, fresh and nice, a slightly dry finish. (3) Overall: Not at all bad, more vigorous than the normal Swedish interpretation of an Oktoberfest beer. (3.5)
