Apperance: Very dark brown, mostly black, a beige head. The beer leaves good curtains. (4.5)
Aroma: This beer is smelling of roasted bread, dried fruit and dark chocolate. (4)
Taste: The taste is very sweet, dark toast with fig marmalade, vinous notes - Madeira. (3.5)
Palate: Little carbonation, a complex but smooth body. (4)
Overall: Despite the sweetness a nice beer. Most suited as dessert. Wonder how it goes with vanilla ice-cream? (3.5)
