Apperance: The beer is a hazy copper toned amber with a large beige head that leaves some lacing. (3) Aroma: The smell is sweet and fruity, honey and strawberries, short bread and lemon. (3.5) Taste: The taste is less sweet, fresh acid fruit flavors, lemon and rhubarb, malty tones, dark bread, and a good measure of lasting bitterness in the finish. (4) Palate: Rather high carbonation, smooth and somewhat oily. A warm dry finish. (3.5) Overall: Much taste, and a good long bitterness. Ideal for slow consumption. (3)
