Apperance: A very clouded dark yellow beer, a white small head leaving no lacing. (2.5) Aroma: It really smells asparagus! Boiled asparagus with melted butter. Some citric notes and a smoky presence. (3.5) Taste: The taste is also very asparagus dominated, as well as there is a smoky meat/butter presence. In the background some lemon and orange, and a bitter finish. (3.5) Palate: Medium carbonation, a bit coarse, a dry and warm finish. (3.5) Overall: A bit uneven, and very unexpected. Overall not bad, but not a given success either. I have not tried it with asparagus (as the bottle suggests). But will it not be too much? (3)
