Apperance: The beer is very dark brown, almost black, a beige head that leaves good lacing. (4)
Aroma: The smell is full of dried ripe fruits, raisins, dates and figs. Some vinous, port, aromas. Roasted malt, toasty and some coffee notes. (4.5)
Taste: The taste is rather sweet, fruits, sherry and coffee and cocoa beans giving some alcohol presence but mostly a good bitter finish. (4)
Palate: A weak carbonation, smooth and a bit oily, a slightly dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: A good porter, rather sweet. (4)
