Old Speckled Hen

Apperance: A clear deep amber brew, a beige head that settles nicely leaving some lacing. (4)
Aroma: Some sweet bread notes, toast, egg, old leaves. (3)
Taste: The taste is also mostly sweet, bread and porridge, some saltness. Rather little bitterness. (3)
Palate: Low carbonation, a nice dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: Well, I almost suspect that this bottle was a bit old. Would have liked more hops to balance the sweetness. (3)
