Apperance: A hazy chestnut colored beer. A high off-white head with good lacing and some curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling of grain, leather, meat and smoke. (3)
Taste: Tasting brown bread, red apples, smoked sausages and some hay. (3.5)
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft texture. A medium body with a slightly dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: I'm not a rauchbier fan, but this was balanced and excellent before barbecue. (3.5)
