Apperance: The beer is clear dark gold with a hint of orange, a white head that leaves lacing. (3)
Aroma: The smell is malty, dry grass and flowers, a bit sour milk, bread and yeast. (3.5)
Taste: The taste is sweet, shortbread and caramel, some fruit notes, pears and apricots in brandy. A small bitter finish,but that lingers pleasantly. (4)
Palate: Low carbonation, smooth and complex, a dry warmth. (3.5)
Overall: A good well-done bock, nice with strong hard cheese. (4)
