Apperance: A brownish black colored beer. A brown head with good lacing and good curtains. (4.25)
Aroma: The smell is sweet dried plums, figs, coffee, vanilla and cocoa beans. (4.25)
Taste: Tasting dark bread, figs and dates, cold coffee, dark chocolate and soy sauce. (3.5)
Palate: Medium low carbonation, a soft and oily texture. A big body with a somewhat dry finish. (4)
Overall: Dark, stout and seems to improve year over year. (4.5)
