Old Stock Ale

Apperance: The beer is clear ruby red with a hint of brown, a bit lighter than red wine, the head is beige and goes down quickly leaving no lacing but good curtains. (3.5)
Aroma: The smell is ripe, sweet fruits, figs, dates and raisins, some vinous notes. Some earthy musky tones in the background. (4)
Taste: The taste is sweet, very sweet, dried fruits, raisins, oranges, peaches, some bitterness, cocoa beans and bitter orange peel. Some alcohol and yeast is noted. (4)
Palate: Very low carbonation, a complex body finished of with an alcoholic warmth. (3.5)
Overall: After dinner with a very ripe cheese this works well for me. (3.5)
