Apperance: A hazy chestnut colored beer. A low off-white head with small lacing and good curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling of sweet bread, honey, sherry and egg batter. (4)
Taste: Tasting sweet brown bread, sherry, orange marmalade peel and oak. (4)
Palate: Low carbonation, a soft texture. A big body with a slightly dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: In all an exquisite barley wine. A bit young though. (4.5)
