Apperance: A clear copper/amber/orange beer, with an off-white head that leaves some lacing and curtains. (4) Aroma: The smell is citric, bitter oranges and a whiff of malt vinegar, sweet bread crust, toffee. (3) Taste: Taste is predominately sweet and malty, syrup, butterscotch digestive biscuits. A rather modest bitter finish, but lasting. The bitterness is orange peel and cherry seeds. (3.5) Palate: Rather low carbonation, smooth texture and a nice dry finish. (4) Overall: In all a very well balanced Brittish IPA, not extremely hoppy but very enjoyable. (4)
