Apperance: A dark amber colored beer. A off-white head with good lacing and good curtains. (4.5)
Aroma: Smelling of bread, ripe apples, old paper and oak. (3)
Taste: Tasting dark toffee, brown bread, brown sugar and some licorice. (3.5)
Palate: Low carbonation, a soft and oily texture. A big body with a slightly dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: Felt a bit tired, esp the smell. But no real disaster. (3)
