Apperance: The brew is rather clear with an orange/copper color, a white foam that leaves lots of lacing. (4) Aroma: Very much of the smell is from the hops, citric, floral, Seville oranges and nettles, sweetness from the malt, honey on fresh bread. (4.5) Taste: The taste is very consistent with the smell, an initial caramel and toffee sweetness from the malt escalating with the citric notes from bitter oranges, that rolls over to a very lasting good bitterness combined with an alcoholic presence. (4.5) Palate: Medium carbonation, a good balanced complexity. (4) Overall: A very good brew, the hops where well balanced. Will return to it when I can. (4.5)
