Apperance: A hazy dark brown beer. A low tan head with small lacing and good curtains. (4.5) Aroma: A sweet, complex and intoxicating smell; Sherry, madeira, grappa, dried fruites, raisins. (5) Taste: The taste is full of dark dried fruits, figs, raisins and dates, burnt caramel and strong wine, Sauternes and sherry. A liquid Christmas plum pudding. (4.5) Palate: Low carbonation, a soft and oily texture. A big body. (4) Overall: Wow, now, at the age of eight, it was really much better than four years ago, wonder if I should wait four or eight years for the last bottle in my cellar to mature? (4.5)
