Carnegie Special 175th Anniversary Porter

Apperance: The brew is dark brown, almost black with ruby nuances, a tan small head with little lacing but good curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling of sweet vanilla sugar, some almond and bourbon nuances, a good measure of oak cask. Caramel and butterscotch as well. (4)
Taste: The taste has the sweet vanilla, Caramel and butterscotch, dark dried fruits. Now a pleasant Madeira nuance is developing, some oak notes. (4)
Palate: Little carbonation, soft but slightly watery. (4)
Overall: Now it is starting to mature, much better than the fresh variant IMHO. (4.5)
