Apperance: A black brown colored beer. A low tan head with some lacing and some curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling of sweet brown bread, dark dried fruits, dates, figs, dark chocolate, almonds and vanilla. (4.5)
Taste: Tasting of sweet brown shortbread, dark dried fruits, dates, figs, dark chocolate, Marzipan, bourbon and vanilla. (5)
Palate: Low carbonation, a soft and oily texture. A big body with a slightly dry finish. (4.5)
Overall: As an barrel aged porter it can't get much better than this. (4.5)
