Apperance: A dark amber, brown ale, a beige head leaving lots of lacing. (4) Aroma: A definitive smell of burnt wood, tar and green cheese. Some sweet old dried fruits, wet cement. (2) Taste: A taste of raw concrete mixed with fermented raisins, sherry and madeira. Rather sour. (2.5) Palate: Medium carbonated, a dry wine-like feeling. (3) Overall: The box said best before like three months ago. Tend to agree, it must have been better. I have mixed feelings. (2.5)
