Apperance: A clear chestnut colored beer. A high off-white head with some lacing and some curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling of sweet fruits, cherries, sour grapes and yeast. (3.5)
Taste: Tasting sweet mixed fruits, jelly beans, sour rhubarb marmalade and yeast. (3)
Palate: Medium high carbonation, a watery texture. A small body with a sour dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: Extremely unexpected sourness, more a sweet Flemish red than a barley wine IMHO. (3.5)
