Bötet Barley Wine

Apperance: The beer is brown, red hints, with a firm beige head leaving lots of lacing. (4)
Aroma: The smell is, as should be, vinous - Port, Madeira. Sweet dried fruits, figs, dates. Fermentation and yeast. (4.5)
Taste: Abundantly sweet, dried apricots, spices, cloves. A good bitter balance, bitter almond. (5)
Palate: Rather good carbonation, small fresh bubbles, yet a firm feeling. (4)
Overall: I have difficulties rating barley wines, barely beers as they are. But to me this was rather accessible. (4.5)
