Apperance: A clear mahogany beer with a beige foam, leaving quite some lacing, good curtains. (4) Aroma: Smelling of smoked malts, a hint of caramel, orange. and a bit sweet, dried raisins, sour cream and cinnamon. (4) Taste: The taste has a good balance between sweet and bitter. Caramel and brown bread notes with a good hoppy taste and cinnamon. Bitter oranges, ginger bread cookies. (4) Palate: Medium high carbonation, a soft texture, small bodies. A good body with a good dry finish. (3.5) Overall: A good winter ale, spicy and intriguing. (3.5)
