Apperance: The beer is clear amber, a small off-white head that leaves some lacing but good curtains. (4.5) Aroma: The smell is intriguingly earthy, stable, horse blanket, leather, moldy cheese and sour vinegar. (4) Taste: The taste is dominated by acid nuances, sour cream, apple cider vinegar and old yeast. Some wood in the slightly sweet upfront nuances. (4) Palate: Medium high carbonation, slightly spritzy, a complex body but very refreshing. A sour dry finish. (4) Overall: Very good, very complex, but not so demanding. (4.5)
