Old Stock Ale

Apperance: The beer is clear brown with a hint of orange, the head is off-white leaving little lacing but very good curtains. (4)
Aroma: The smell is ripe, sweet fruits, figs, dates and apples, some vinous notes, but also muffin batter, Marzipan and nuts. (4.5)
Taste: The taste is sweet, very sweet, dried fruits, raisins, oranges, apricots, Marzipan, almonds, sherry, some grassy bitterness, cocoa beans and bitter orange peel. (4)
Palate: Low carbonation, soft and oily feeling, a big body finished of with an alcoholic warmth and a slight dryness (4)
Overall: This year was very promising as a young one, hope it will be even better in five, ten years. (4)
