Apperance: A dark gold clear liquid, an off-white firm head that leaves a lacing. (4) Aroma: The smell is dominated by the hops, grass and grapefruit mainly. Some sweetness from the malt in a shortbread nuance. (4) Taste: The taste is also dominate by the hops, the bitter oils leaving a lasting impression. But also balanced with a hint of syrup sweetness and some sour lemon traits. (4.5) Palate: Rather high carbonation, giving a refreshing feeling, and of course the bitterness leaves a dryness. (4) Overall: I'm partial. I like the style. I like hops. I like Scotland. No surprise - I like this beer. (4.5)
