Cuvée Van De Keizer Imperial Dark (Blauw)

Apperance: The beer is dark amber with ruby notes, an off-white head, good lacings, very good curtains. (4.5)
Aroma: The smell is very sweet, caramelized sugar syrup and nuts. (4)
Taste: The taste is sweet, brown bread and brown caramelized sugar, butter scotch, honey, apricots and almonds. A nuance of sweet kicorice. (4)
Palate: Mediun carbonation, small bubbles, mild, smooth, oily but a very full body. (4)
Overall: This was the 2010, very young, sweet and fresh, no Madeira character yet. (4)
