Aroma: The smell is dominated by heavily roasted aromas, coffee, bitter chocolate. (4)
Taste: The taste is deep, sweet licorice and port wine with strong espresso, burnt bread and a dry finish. Some feeling of salty cheese. (4)
Palate: Very low carbonation, a dry almost coarse feeling. (3.5)
Overall: A complex and demanding beer. (3.5)
