Apperance: A light yellow clear brew, a white firm head leaving good lacing. (3.5) Aroma: The smell is distinctively citric and floral, grape, hay, pines, american hops I dare say. (4) Taste: Some digestive biscuit sweetness and maltiness, a lot of grapefruit juice, green apples, and a good lasting bitterness. (4) Palate: Medium high carbonation, but a soft and rich feeling. (4) Overall: This was a pleasant surprise, I do not have high hopes foe American Pale Lagers. But this one combined the Czech Pils with the best of the new world. (4)
