Apperance: Slightly hazy amber, an off-white rather small head, some lacing and some curtains. (4) Aroma: The smell has a whiff of toffee, but mainly grape-fruit, pine and resin. (3.5) Taste: The taste has a sweet caramel start, fresh bread, grape-fruit juice, then a seed and peel bitterness. (3.5) Palate: Medium carbonation, small bubbles, a good body, slightly dry. (3) Overall: A rather nice, well-balanced, clean and good american IPA, especially for being a single hop. (3.5)
